A celebration of Mutant Kitsch in Uncanny X-Men #500, the new Sinister, Swierczynski’s Mortal Iron Fist, a second chance for the New Warriors, Christos Gage’s Thunderbolts, Wolverine leading Alpha Flight, the usual Secret Invasion fillers, Ultimate X-Junkies, Hulk dog-sitting Cerberus… You BET we have a lot to cover!

Panel of the Week, the new Wolverine movie trailer, Buffy the Animated Series, Hercules in bed, Marvel Mummies, Galactus Take-Away and much more I’m not allowed to say!

Spidey sings the DD theme song, Ghost Rider takes to the Good Book, Archangel is feeling blue, MODOK makes a splash, Longshot gets lucky, Hercules as well, Sue with Namor even more so, Captain America becomes a Queen… and the Avengers challenge Galactus to a Texas Hold’Em tournament!

Captain Britain returns, Starhawk joins the guardians of the Galaxy reunion, Cyclops is revealed for the hack he is, Captain America reveals his origin (twice in the same week), Kraven gets a boob (and bleach) -job, Claremont hits tilt, Stark goes Skrully — and yet it all pales before the awesomeness of… MARVEL MUMMIES!!
Note: LYS@D will be delayed by a day this week.

This is Leave Your Spandex @t the Door number 128, smoke-free but still full of ****s, voyerism, gays, nudity, violence and gore!

So Marvel released 23 titles this week. Out of which six have ‘Avengers’ in their title, six more are Secret Invasion tie-ins, two are drawn by Takeshi Miyazawa, two are written by Matt Fraction, five of them feature Hulks of three different colours in total, but only one features two favourite super-heroes in cross-dress… -Sigh-

Fully recovered and relaxed after our Lisbon Holidays, bringing you the juiciest most filling edition yet! Lesbian Proselytizing, Cross-dressing Aquaman, Interview with Yoshitaka Amano, Joss Whedon’s new online venture, and so much more!

Bumper car wars, ancient Greek underage gay sex, blasphemy, drugs, gamma-irradiated cross-breeders… and Arnim Zola! Something for every perverted taste?
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #563
(Bob Gale / Mike McKone / Marlo Alquiza)
Hey, it does what it says on the cover! Spidey versus the Enforcers (perhaps his unintentionally lamest villains) in a bump-car ride in Coney Island…
All that plus [...]

Looking a month back: Spider-Man and Spider-Girl relieve the clone saga, the Hulk gets two kids – and learns Kung Fu, Captain Britain is still dead, Claremont still struggles, and Wolverine guts a churchful of Christians.

Fun times!

It’s a week of odd pairings! Spider-Woman hits on Iron-Man (though one or both might be Skrulls- hmm), Bruce Banner hits on Marvel Girl, Rockslide hits on his teacher, the Enchantress seduces teen Spider-Man, She-Hulk picks on Red Hulk, Red Hulk picks on some deer, the Thing picks his nose and just what does G stand for in the new MODOG?

This week is Angel-Tribute week at Marvel! Alex Spencer has already covered most of these titles in his combo Angel review, but here’s one more look at things. Featuring Angel (duh), She-Hulk disbarred, Sir Wolverine of the Animal Kingdom, the evil Anti-FF, Estrogen Loki, Spidey in Chains, and teen girls under the microscope.

This is Leave Your Spandex @t the Door number 125. Bringing you the sluttiest teens in comics, every (other) week!

Week 21 for Marvel: the big titles under-perform while the little titles that could, CAN! (yeah, I was reaching for a front page blurb…) Read on for Spidey, Mighty Avengers, X-Factor, Ultimate X-Men, the Initiative, FF, Hercules, Marvel Adventures Avengers and Iron-Man!

Four new super-teams debuting this week in Marvel, June seems to be the loneliest month…

Spidey goes paparazzi, May joins a mindless cult, Spitfire dines on Skrull, the Invisible Woman beds one, the Green Goblin saves the day… All that and Cosmo: the Russian Cosmic Dog of Knowledge!

This is Leave Your Spandex @t the Door number 124. Well, we’re at least aspiring to be weekly. Bear with us. Panel of the Week, Big in Japan, Galaxy Quest, the Thing’s rocks, Mary Goddamn Marvel, Aaron Stack Hamlet and more Orrgo!

Whoa. You turn your head around for a second and suddenly the world is upside down. So, Spidey is quippy and carefree, Bendis’ Avengers don’t suck no more, Secret Invasion is entertaining, and Iron-Man is not a prick? Ah, but cruel vengeful Karma, look what’s happened to the darling X-books in retaliation… BOO! Plus: Zombie Wolvie and Spidey vs H.E.R.B.I.E.(s)!

It’s a week of solid endings all around the block. Iron Fist, X-Men Legacy, Avengers Initiative all wrap up their most important storylines, while we bid a sad adieu to the Order and a ‘heck yeah good riddance’ to Kirkman’s Ultimate X-Men. Plus: Flaming Boobs! More mean-spiritedness after the jump!

LYS@D #123 brings you Sailor Stinky Farts, rabid Yip Yip dogs, Joker slapping Luthor, Emo Rapunzel and Jason Aaron Week Tribute Week (featuring Cannibals, Nunchuck Nuns, Vindictive Calendar Girls and Wolverine Kamikazi)!
