Comics Nexus tries something new. Is it a bold new direction? Is it complete editorial turnover? Is it the maiming of a sidekick and the fridging of a little girl?

Nah, it’s just a monthly feature.

Here’s a quick wrap of the panels that I attended at the 10th Annual Baltimore Comic-Con.

With the Baltimore Comic Con hours away, Mathan shares what panels he plans to attend and what issues he’s searching for.

The Countdown to Baltimore Comic Con. continues as Mathan shares the list of trades and graphic novels he’s hoping to find (moderately priced) at the con.

Words of Questionable Wisdom returns in anticipation of the Baltimore Comic Con!

In the latest edition we identify more resurrected characters from the Blackest Night event, help someone get up to speed on The Flash, theorize about Don Hall and lament the death of Orpheus.

Oh yeah, it’s a humdinger of a column. Dig in!

Finally we come to the conclusion of our columns devoted to Blackest Night #1.

This time around we focus on Dead Villains.

I’m glad it’s over because I’m dead tired. (And I think I’ve begun to beat a dead horse.)

Ugh, I’m still working my way though Blackest Night #1 and the questions it’s stirred up.

Thanks for ruining my weekend Geoff Johns!

Green Lanterns are cool, right? But what’s cooler than a Green Lantern? A dead Green Lantern that’s been reanimated as part of the summer mega comic event.

But how are you supposed to know who’s who among the the dead GLC? Well unfortunately that’s why we’re here.

This edition is packed with, well just a couple questions. But one question takes precedence; which dead characters seem destined to rise during “Blackest Night?”

Yeah, this might be a long one. And full of spoilers.

You’ve been warned.

This edition we cover Daxamites, Prometheus, Co-Features, Dakota and even Kryb. We’ve even got royalty showing up via Aquaman and Wonder Woman.

Admit it; you’re curious. Just jump right in get to reading.

Did you miss me?

This edition we tackle Barry Allen, expose Static, confront Final Crisis and address the Watchmen.

Oh yeah, it’s going to be an exciting read. Probably.

This edition is full of rebellion!

Ok, technically it’s just full of R.E.B.E.L.S. (with a pinch of L.E.G.I.O.N. for good measure). There’s also some Secret Six and Young Justice. Oh and I fix the Titans franchise.

You need more incentive to read? Two words; Crazy Quilt!

The column comes back with some vengeance.

Actually it’s just some Vigilante, a pinch of Mirror Master and a handful of Gotham. So c’mon in and get an eyeful of goodness!

It’s been awhile and the column has missed you just as much as you’ve missed it. This edition we discuss Final Crisis, Red Lanterns, Banished Batman and the Blackest Night. We even travel back to the future.

C’mon, you know you want to read it. Don’t hold a grudge.

In honor of Valentines Day we present the things we loved most about comics in 2008. It’s the annual Nexus Awards like you’ve never seen them before!

This week we speculate about Checkmate, coach Sturges & Willingham, dream of Grant Morrison and theorize about the Doom Patrol.

Oh yeah, this week is a wild ride. Join us, won’t you?

This week in the column we look to the future and the past. We check out changes in the status quo and how lasing they’ll be. We also devote some time to Lady Chronos and her origins.

We speculate about Nightwing & Flamebird and differentiate between Li’l Lobo and Slobo. There’s even room for a little bit of Bloodwynd and everyone knows that everything’s better with a pinch of Bloodwynd.

C’mon and check it out, you’re piqued curiosity will be satisfied.

Thoughts on 52? Optimism for Countdown? Plans for fixing Green Arrow? Lamenting the name Red Arrow?

Uh oh, I think things got a bit wonky this week!

This week the column covers DCU Cloning 301, the glory that is Barbara Gordon and the origin on the retcon.

The column also tackles not only Gog, but various other Old Gods plus settles the Fire vs Ice debate. Oh, you know you’re curious.
