It's like someone took a cheesy album cover from some lame death metal band and made a comics event around it. Honestly, it's not fun for me to see characters I like turned into the living dead, and I doubt it's going to have anything insightful to say about life and death, or will be genuinely gut-churning like the best E.C. Comics were. So it's just another snuff fetish superhero crossover to me. Did not know about Nekron, though - I haven't really delved into the Lantern mythos to quite that extent. And if the prologue is any indication I think the Blackest Night event will be amazing in every way. I am talking about the main books, not the anxcillary stuff. And I think coming out of Blackest Night we have a very different Corps.
