Not for tie ins or set ups or anything, but because you've got to send a message to DC that inexpensive comics sell. 2) That Chiang cover for Black Canary/Green Arrow does indeed rock. 3) That Batman & the Outsiders cover is really creeping me out. 4) I love that the Catwoman cover is all about crime. And I'm really hoping that "sex" makes it out to press. 5) To me the BoP cover looks kind of Mahnke-ish with a pinch of Adam Hughes. Yeah, that's about it. Where to begin?

1) Yes you need to buy DCU #0. Not for tie ins or set ups or anything, but because you’ve got to send a message to DC that inexpensive comics sell.

That series will end with issue #1. DC Universe: Zero will tie into Final Crisis but also be more of a spotlight issue. I don't know if that makes it less or more appealing but there you go!
